Job Description:
The Vice President of Digital Sales will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to optimize digital sales channels, increase online revenue, and enhance customer acquisition and retention. This executive role requires a deep understanding of digital commerce, sales strategy, and emerging online sales trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to grow digital sales channels across platforms, including website, mobile apps, and marketplaces.
- Lead and manage the digital sales team to achieve targeted revenue goals.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to create seamless omnichannel sales experiences.
- Analyze digital sales performance data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Drive innovation in digital sales approaches, utilizing tools like digital platforms, CRM, and analytics.
- Optimize the customer journey and conversion funnels through data-driven insights.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and KPIs to ensure achievement of sales targets.
- Stay ahead of digital sales technology and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in digital sales with proven leadership.
- Should be able to prove sales figures during the interview
- Strong technical knowledge of e-commerce platforms, CRM, and digital analytics tools.
- Demonstrated success in scaling online sales channels.
- Excellent strategic, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
